The BFG by Roald Dahl

 This story is about a ten year old called Sophie who goes on an adventure with the BFG, a “Big Friendly Giant” First she feels very scared, but when she realised the BFG was not harmful their friendship grew. Sophie coming, attracted the unkind giants, Bloodbottler, Fleshlumpeater and other bad giants. After traveling to London, Sophie and the BFG must convince Queen Victoria to help them get rid of all the bad giants in the world. 

I suggest it is most suitable for 7-8 year olds. Rating 9/10
