Matilda by Roald Dahl

 Matilda is a small girl with horrid parents. She loves reading books and when her parents send her to school, she is the cleverest one her class. A cruel, horrible teacher called Miss Trunchbull, tries to put her in the chockey - a tiny room was spikes everywhere and if you stay too long, you could probably die. I suggest that it would be most suitable for 6-8 year olds. Rating 10/10
